To the Editor,
I’m not sure if you have personally ever drove though Caledonia when the crossing guards are out, but I feel like the one across from the Caledonia high school needs to be recognized. The smile on his face no matter what the weather is, the big wave he gives to every single car driving by.
I could be having the worst day and just seeing him gives me a smile ear to ear. The reactions I see from students when they see him. You can tell he really cares and has built rapport. If you were ever looking to do a story, he should be the highlight!
