TOWNSEND—The Townsend Lions’ first annual Breakfast with Santa was a great success, serving over 100 families a delicious breakfast and handing out toys to dozens of children. The cost was $5 per person up to a maximum of $20 for a family. Breakfast included pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, coffee, tea, and cold drinks. The event was orchestrated by a team of 13 volunteers. The event was deemed a huge success by the organization, and they are looking forward to next year. —Haldimand Press photos by Randy Carter.
