HALDIMAND—Registration is now open for the second season of the Haldimand Wolfpack Rugby League Football Club, which specializes in a non-contact version of rugby for youths.

The group had a successful inaugural season in 2019 with more than 60 local young people enrolled.

“Our aim is to provide a fun, safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment that encourages participants of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds to enjoy, learn, develop, and achieve their own personal successes and milestones through the game of Rugby League,” said Paul Buchanan, President of the club in a statement issued to The Haldimand Press.

The club is a not-for-profit group created to help raise the profile of the sport within Haldimand County and the Six Nations communities. The club is split into two different co-ed groups based on age. For children aged 2-6, there is the Mighty Wolfpups program, while children aged 7-16 can enjoy the Wolfpack Youth program.
