DUNNVILLE—Mental health has never been more crucial than it has been since March 2020 when we all had to face the impact that COVID-19 was making on our everyday lives. Little did we know that 10 months later, things are still unsettled.
Due to the restrictions surrounding the pandemic, it is not feasible to host the annual Mental Wellness Expo for Haldimand in 2021, normally held in Dunnville each year. The event has always been held in conjunction with Bell Let’s Talk Day. Over the years this event has offered wonderful workshops and resources from 30 community partners seeing over 200 community members.
The good news is that it will be back in 2022 and it will be bigger and better than ever before! Be sure to stay tuned or reach out to us for details starting in the fall of 2021.
Until next time, please take extra good care of yourself. Be kind to yourself. Your mental health matters. If there is anything we can do to support you during these challenging times, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We can help you navigate the myriad of programs and services available.
