DUNNVILLE—Members of the True Experience organization spent the early afternoon of Saturday, August 31, 2019 selling hot dogs and bracelets for $2 and beverages for $1 outside of Dunnville’s Giant Tiger to raise over $675 for their upcoming walk for World Suicide Prevention Day.
2019 marks the third year of the walk, and all proceeds are used to assure that the event will be barrier-free and accessible to all. The day will begin with a t-shirt pickup at True Experience’s 201 Forest Street location at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, with the group to start marching at 6 p.m. through the town and into Central Park. At the park will be a barbecue with music and speakers, followed by a candle lighting.
