From The Hagersville Food Bank
To The Haldimand Press
HAGERSVILLE—We are six months into the COVID pandemic, and your community food bank is still going strong. Thanks to the more than generous support of this wonderful community, we have been able to open every week to provide food to those in our neighborhood that need a little help.
Our client numbers had initially dropped off, either due to CERB assistance or those who were just too scared to come out, but have now begun to climb again. We anticipate the next few months may be our busiest as the government assistance programs stop and people start looking for work that may not be available as of yet.
