CALEDONIA—Haldimand OPP responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a construction site on McClung Road in Caledonia on October 17, 2021 at 2:49 a.m.
Surveillance cameras showed three suspects enter the construction site in a red Ford pickup truck with licence plate AS98789. The suspects were observed at a sea can cutting a lock and loading property into the box of the truck. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle involved was stolen. Police observed the vehicle leave the scene travelling east towards McClung Road and attempted to stop the vehicle, however it fled at a high rate of speed north on McClung Road.
