HALDIMAND—On October 28, 2021 at 5:08 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to an address on Highway 3 for the report of a single vehicle that had landed in a ditch adjacent to the driveway of a residence.
While speaking with the driver, signs of drug impairment were apparent. The individual was transported to the Cayuga detachment for additional testing. A 55-year-old of Niagara Falls is charged with:
- Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Drug
- Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand
The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
