Provincial junior hockey in full swing locally

HALDIMAND—Following the cancellation of the 2020-21 season, the Provincial Junior Hockey Association (PJHL) has resumed for the 2021-22 season.

Locally, the Hagersville Hawks played recently against the Grimsby Peach Kings on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at their home arena with about 160 people in attendance. Unfortunately, the game got off to a bad start as Grimsby came out strong with an unanswered goal just over eight minutes into the game.
