Dave Miller of rural Caledonia sent this butterscotch cheesecake recipe to me recently. I have not tried it yet, but it cer-tainly sounds like a good one.

This lemon loaf is one that I have made several times. My grandma would often make it for my brother and me as a school lunch box treat. When I make it, I cut the lemon juice in half and grate more lemon zest into it as I find that this makes it more lemony and a bit darker in colour. If you still notice a few small lumps after mixing it don’t worry about that as over mixing it will cause it to be heavy. Let it completely cool in the pan before removing it and adding the glaze. After adding the glaze, you can grate even more lemon zest over the top.

This steak teriyaki stir fry recipe is one that I haven’t made in a while, but it is quick and easy and tastes deli-cious. You can complete it by serving over white or brown rice.
