CALEDONIA — Haldimand OPP is investigating the theft of a vehicle on April 6, 2022 at 7:08 p.m. The suspect attended an address on Fleming Crescent in Caledonia on the pretense of wanting to purchase a vehicle as advertised online. He then got into the vehicle while the owner was present, closed and locked the car doors, then exited the driveway followed by a newer black Cadillac Escalade.
The vehicle stolen was a 2018 Range Rover Velar, grey in colour, and had vanity plates which read “AAZZ”. The vehicle was in perfect condition.
The suspect is described as 5’9”, of East Indian descent with a high pitched voice, black slicked back hair, facial stubble and wearing a black jacket, black pants, coloured running shoes, and a single silver earring.
