HAGERSVILLE/CAYUGA—The sixth annual “Putting” Food On The Table Golf Tournament was held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the Cayuga Golf Club. This year’s golf tournament raised more money than ever: $28,878. This results in a $14,000 donation to both the Hagersville and Cayuga food banks. There were 120 golfers who came out to support this very worthy cause. The community was also very involved with this golf tournament, with 185 sponsors, both business and personal sponsors, contributing to this tournament. On the day of the golf tournament there were 11 community and personal volunteers that kept things running smoothly. In the six years that this golf tournament has been running a total of $106,000 has been raised for these two food banks. A very special thank you to the tournament coordinators, Deanna and Ken Schaus, and Brian and Luanne Bedini. Shown in photo (l-r) is Jan Madsen (Cayuga Food Bank Co-Manager), Deanna Schaus (Tournament Coordinator), and Dorothy Biggar (Cayuga Food Bank Co-Manager). Thanks to everyone who helped to make this day such a huge success!                         —Submitted photo.
