HALDIMAND—On March 9, 2023 the Haldimand-Norfolk Holstein Club held its annual Breeder’s Cup Competition. All cows must be registered, bred, and housed in county. Each farm can register up to five entries. The judge attends each farm and judges each animal on site and then a reception for awards is held in the evening. We had 14 farms participate this year with 50 entries in total. Our judge this year was Devin O’Hara. Thank you to all our exhibitors. Congratulations everyone. Shown is (l-r) Doug Winger (Representing Keylas Farms, Reserve Champion Cow), Judge Devin O’Hara, Henry Kelly (Representing Kellys Dairy Farms Ltd., Grand Champion Cow), and Amy DeBoer (Representing DeBoer Acres Holsteins, Honourable Mention Cow). —Submitted photo.
