This broccoli salad is in answer to a request that I received this week. I have made it before and really liked it. The crispy chicken salad is a recipe that I haven’t tried yet as I didn’t have any cornflakes on hand, but it certainly looks tasty and I will be making it soon.

I had a request for a rhubarb recipe that was not stewed. I saw this recipe in a Bon Appetit magazine and so I tried it and it is definitely a good one.

When I went to dinner at Dixieland Grill to celebrate my oldest granddaughter Kally’s birthday, Jason ordered chicken wings with a variety of dips and one was bacon jam. This week I saw a cooking show with a recipe for bacon jam and ketchup, so I made it and it was delicious. It was served with “weiner fries” – weiners cut in quarters lengthwise for four long slices that were baked until crispy. I tried it with chicken wieners and really liked it. The dip I used was bacon jam mixed with an equal amount of ketchup.
