CREDIT—A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle.
On May 7, 2026 around 11:20 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to a failure to remain collision near the intersection of Mississauga Road and New Credit Road in Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation territory. The investigation determined that the pedestrian was walking westbound on the northside shoulder of the roadway when they were struck from behind.
The vehicle was last seen travelling northbound on New Credit Road and is described to be a white coloured pickup truck with a light bar on the roof.
CCTV footage is being reviewed and investigators are requesting residents in the area to review any video surveillance from that time and contact the OPP if anything was captured that would assist this ongoing investigation.
