CREDIT—An individual is facing several charges following a property related investigation.
On May 20, 2026, at approximately 10 a.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a property related complaint on Second Line in Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
The investigation determined that previously reported stolen property was found at the location in question, along with suspected illicit drugs.
A 27-year-old Hagersville resident was charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance (two counts)
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 (three counts)
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (three counts)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on May 21. The charges have not been proven in court.
