Passed away peacefully with family present on Wednesday June 10, 2026 in Cambridge, ON at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Sharon Awde, and the late Brenda (Ellis) Awde (1978). Loving father of Greg (Jeannie), Kevin (Elizabeth), Kimberly, Jamie (Jen), and Candice (Jamie). Dear grandfather to Justin, Matthew, Devon, Marie, Laura, Charlie, Lucy, Dillon, Jack, Joe, Zak, and Zoe. Great-grandfather to Sullivan, Thorin, Meadow, Emily, and Sophia. Son of the late Sherman and Viola Awde. The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Monday June 15, 2026 at 1 p.m. Interment Hagersville Cemetery.
