HAGERSVILLE—Russ and Karen Beaurivage (shown above) of Hagersville and Hillary Henderson of Caledonia have been involved with missions to Haiti since 2009. Seeing the potential of the country, they wanted to do more, so they, along with some other friends, founded the Hope From Above Ministries (HFAM) non-profit in April, 2016.
About 150 people attended a beef-on-a-bun dinner at the Hagersville Community Centre on June 22, 2019 to support the ministry’s projects. Beef-on-a-bun was provided from Christine’s Bakery, strawberries were provided from Richardson’s Farm and Market, and ice cream from Hewitt’s Dairy.
