SIX NATIONS—One of Canada’s most successful Indigenous businessmen, Ken Hill, died in his sleep while staying in Miami, Florida on January 18, 2021 at the age of 62. As of publication, no cause of death had been confirmed.
Hill was the co-owner of Grand River Enterprises, which manufactures and sells cigarettes including the brands Putters, DK’s, and Sago. In addition, he owned many businesses around Six Nations and Haldimand County, including the Jukasa Motor Speedway in Hagersville.
