CAYUGA—Haldimand Council has voted unanimously in favour of a zoning by-law change that will allow Battlefield International Inc. to expand their facility on Kohler Road in Cayuga.
The facility is used for processing, manufacturing, and light assembly, and is home to a research facility in the aerospace sector. Currently, 30 employees work for the company and the expansion will allow for that number to grow to 65. Battlefield International previously purchased the land beside their existing operations and have merged those lands into a single lot, which they asked to be zoned rural industrial.
