HALDIMAND—Starting January 30, 2020, not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers, and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees looking to hire full-time workers for summer 2020 can now apply for funding under the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program.
As part of Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy, Canada Summer Jobs helps students gain the skills and experience that they need to be successful, now and in the future, while earning money for the upcoming school year. This program is specifically designed to help employers create job opportunities for young people, aged 15 to 30, who are full-time students and intend to return to school in the fall.
