CANFIELD—Windecker Road Films is thrilled to announce the documentary series ‘Canfield Roots’ is now available to Bell TV subscribers for viewing anytime as part of Bell Fibe TV’s On Demand library of programming.

The six-part series, which has drawn a great deal of support and interest from the local community, touches on some uncomfortable issues, including what life was like for Black families who made Canfield their home, and what is to be done about an abandoned cemetery that has fallen into disarray and is now the focus of a restoration project.

“I hope everyone gets as much out of watching Canfield Roots as we did filming it,” said Graeme Bachiu, Director/Producer of Canfield Roots. “I began this project about three years ago, and as with many things in 2020 and 2021, we were heavily affected by COVID-19, so I’m especially happy to be sharing this series now.”

Viewers who don’t subscribe to Bell TV won’t be left out. Starting mid-November, Canfield Roots will be available on Vimeo On Demand (VOD) at vimeo.com/ondemand/canfieldroots where the trailer is now live. As well, private screenings of the series can be arranged for in-person or virtual gatherings. For info, email graeme@windeckerroadfilms.com to receive a screening toolkit including full details, pricing, and event planning tips and tools.
