DUNNVILLE

DUNNVILLE—On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Central Park in Dunnville was once again the site of Canada Day celebrations. Hundreds of people passed through the park, enjoying local entertainment, vendors, and, of course, cake and ice cream in celebration of Canada’s 158th birthday. The event was organized by the Optimist Club of Dunnville, Dunnville Rotary Club, Dunnville Lions, Dunnville Chamber of Commerce, and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 142.

CALEDONIA
CALEDONIA—On July 1, 2025 the heart of Caledonia was filled with pride, colour, and celebration as residents gathered for the annual Canada Day parade. Stretching through the main streets, the parade brought together community members of all ages to mark the nation’s birthday. Local businesses, sports teams, first responders, and community organizations participated with decorated floats, bright costumes, and plenty of red and white. Music filled the air as spectators waved flags and cheered from the sidewalks, creating an energetic atmosphere that showcased the town’s strong community spirit. Behind the scenes, dedicated volunteers and town staff worked hard to keep the event running smoothly. After the parade, celebrations continued with a vendor showcase, plenty of family fun activities, and fireworks that lit up the night sky. As the final firework faded and the lawn chairs folded up, Caledonia proved once again that nobody does small-town patriotism quite like this.
