Corvairs sweep Buffalo 4-0

CALEDONIA—The Caledonia Corvairs had no problem skating through Round 1 of the playoffs against Buffalo. Game 1 took place February 25, 2020. Caledonia dominated the game with seven goals from six players. Marino Moro got a goal in the first and second, while Cole Tymkin, Ryan Littlejohn, Nick Giunta, Danyk Drouin, and Dylan D’Agostino scored once each. Buffalo managed one goal at the end of the third to avoid being shut out, but only managed a total of 11 shots on Aidan Hughes. The Buffalo goalie saw 56 shots in comparison.

While Buffalo reduced the goals scored by Caledonia in Game 2 on February 26, their own offence was kept completely at bay in a 4-0 loss. Drouin got the Corvairs on the board halfway through the first, the second was scoreless, and the third saw goals from Ryan Wells, Noah Caperchione, and Giunta. Hughes saved all 12 shots that came his way; again the opposing goalie saw over 50 shots.
