HALDIMAND—Haldimand County approved changing its all-way stop policy to allow requests with significant public support to be approved without meeting the technical requirements.
Currently, staff must provide a report on all stop sign requests. General Manager of Engineering and Capital Works, Tyson Haedrich, said that after reviewing past requests, the stop sign placement is often approved, regardless of recommendations by staff.
