DUNNVILLE—On Sunday, May 10, 2020, Darryl Stevens coordinated a supportive drive by for health care workers, support staff, and patients of Haldimand War Memorial Hospital (HWMH), Grandview Lodge, and Edgewater Gardens.
Stevens has been a volunteer at Edgewater Gardens for the past year and as a volunteer of the hospital he put in about 680 hours in 2019. He set this up to “thank the frontline workers, health care workers, and also to let the residents and patients know that we haven’t forgotten about them either. I miss them. I miss the people, though I do have phone numbers for a lot of them and I will call them and have a chat.”
