DUNNVILLE—For the past six years, Attila Elek of Dunnville has been organizing the Dunnville Grand Tour to encourage tourism, physical activity, and the appreciation of the beauty of Haldimand County. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he’s found a way to promote getting outside and being active even while socially distancing.
This year, riders and walkers alike can register on the Grand Tour website for a Virtual Ride. After registering, participants are asked to go about their daily physical activity, be it swimming, biking, running on a treadmill, and so on, and log it on the Mission Page or phone app.
