DUNNVILLE—Haldimand County has been approved for $820,665 in provincial funding for work on Highway 3 in Dunnville. This funding represents about 90% of the approximately $1 million project cost.
The funding is part of the Connecting Links Program, in which municipalities can apply for funding toward work on their roads and bridges that connect two ends of a provincial highway through a community. In Haldimand County, this includes the urban portions of Highways 3 and 6. This year’s grant will go toward resurfacing Broad Street between Oak and Pine streets in Dunnville.
