DUNNVILLE—On Saturday, April 16, 2022 Calvary Pentecostal Church in Dunnville hosted its annual Easter Egg Hunt, which saw nearly 700 people through the two time slots collect approximately 40,000 eggs. The event ran smoothly thanks to the 40 volunteers on hand. Shown above is Henry Lymburner collecting his chocolate eggs. —Photos courtesy of Christie Blackwood.
The Calvary Church egg hunt included a bouncy castle, balloon animals, popcorn, cotton candy, and Paw Patrol mascots. They collected two large bins of non-perishable food items for Dunnville Salvation Army’s food bank. Children’s Pastor, Rev. Laurie Ricker, said, “It was so delightful to see huge smiles on children’s faces…. Each of our two sessions had a bike giveaway. I am extremely grateful for the many volunteers who helped to make the day run smoothly. We love you Dunnville!” Below is Piper Boer (photo by Christie Blackwood) and above is Emmanuel McQuillen (photo by Trina McQuillen).
