I started my business in 1987 on Lane Road in Dunnville. My dad, Richard Egger, taught me the way to do business was to always provide good service and a fair price. I have been in business for 36 years and now employ 25 people. My wife, Betty, and I always try to do the best job, give the best service, and provide the best solutions. That’s why our motto is, “We deliver more then we promise.”
We cultivate an atmosphere of value in our business. Value in the products we offer, in service we provide, and in our employees. We strive to make sure that each employee has the necessary training and resources they need to excel at their job and feel like a valued member at Egger Truck.
The time has come for me to pass the reins along to Dale, my son, and to Bob Henley, who has been like a son to me. It is important for me to see the business continue to prosper. Having a well-designed succession plan was important so that we, as a business, could continue to provide valued service for our customers, and to also take care of our team of employees who have helped to make it possible to be where we are today.
Dale and Bob have both grown up working at Egger Truck, each having over 20 years experience in this business. I have no doubts that Egger Truck is in good hands. With Dale and Bob leading the way, the business will continue to grow, while still providing value and care to our customers and to our team of dedicated employees. I look forward to continuing to work in a sales capacity while supporting and mentoring Dale and Bob as we move forward toward new growth and new beginnings.
