HAGERSVILLE—At the 200m mark of the Intermediate girls 400m event in the CAGE track and field championships, very few present would have predicted that Oneida’s Tori d’Angela could make up the substantial deficit that had her in fourth place. But apparently that was part of her race plan, as she made up that deficit and more to win the event. Making it more impressive was the fact that, 20 minutes earlier, she had captured the 100m. Those two wins went with the second place in triple jump that started her day.
