The joint venture between the Hagersville Lions Club and the Hagersville Rocks Music Festival to host an amazing Catch the Ace raffle lottery has come to an incredible conclusion.
This success would not have been possible without the incredible support of Royal Canadian Legion Br. 164 Hagersville and an amazing team of volunteers from all three organizations and the community at large.
We thank our businesses and residents for their support of this event and their patience and understanding with the influx of ticket buyers every Thursday for 45 weeks and in particular over the past three months. We paid attention to their concerns and reacted with changes in our operations and security measures from week to week.
This event was based from day one on community engagement and community partnerships, a feat that we know we accomplished. So many of our businesses gained exposure to a whole new customer base that may have never visited Hagersville had it not been for the draw of Catch the Ace.
We are so proud of the legacy that this will hold for our community and the beneficiaries of the over $3 million (before expenses) that they will share in.
