HALDIMAND — The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit (HNHU) reports that effective immediately, publicly funded Covid-19 testing will only be available to:

Ontarians eligible for Covid-19 treatment (i.e., symptomatic individuals who are immuno-compromised, 65 years of age or older, or those with high-risk medical conditions).

People in high-risk and some congregate living settings (including long-term care homes) and other specific populations to support outbreak prevention and management.

Residents are encouraged to speak with their healthcare provider or pharmacy if they fall into a high-risk category and meet eligibility criteria for treatment and develop a plan in advance. Please note Rapid Antigen Tests are no longer available to distribute to the public at the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit.
