JARVIS—The art of macramé has made a resurgence in recent years and its popularity was proven by response to a workshop hosted by the Friends of the Jarvis Library (FOJL) on September 21, 2023. With step by step instruction provided by Nancy Cronkwright, participants learned a variety of knots to create a hanging plant holder. The satisfied crafters are shown displaying their finished projects, complete with plants. Sitting (l-r): Christina De Graf, Emma De Graf, Karen Bootsma, Nancy Cronkwright (instructor).
