DUNNVILLE—For many people, your 70s are meant for winding down, spending time with your grandkids, and enjoying the fact that you don’t have work tomorrow. For Muriel Currie of Dunnville, it’s been a time of transformation.
After losing her husband, she contacted Grand Erie Learning Alternatives to enroll in their Literacy and Basic Skills program, which helped her navigate the new world of computer technology as well as updating a lot of her skills, such as writing. It wasn’t long before she was confidently pursuing her diploma.
