HALDIMAND—On August 10, 2022, at 6:53 p.m. Haldimand OPP was called to an address in Haldimand County for a landlord tenant dispute.
Upon arrival, police discovered five deceased calves on the property. Additionally, the surviving animals, including several calves and pigs, a sheep, and chickens, were in critical condition. Several animals had to be euthanized by a veterinarian called to the scene.
Animal Welfare Services attended the location to remove the livestock and will be taking carriage of the investigation.
