CALEDONIA—Haldimand OPP responded to a report of a missing 16-year-old male from a group home south of Caledonia. The youth was last seen at 3:30 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 when he left the residence in an unknown direction from 5th Line south of Caledonia.
It was believed he may be headed to a wooded area. Residents were asked to check their backyards and outbuildings for the youth. Haldimand OPP officers, the Emergency Response Team, OPP K-9 Unit, and the OPP Aviation Service were involved in the search.
The OPP reported at 3 p.m. on July 8 that they had located the missing male party in Caledonia.
The OPP would like to thank the public for all their assistance with locating the male safely.
