CAYUGA—On November 26, 2022 at 9:24 a.m., members of Haldimand OPP were called to a residence on Hudson Drive in Cayuga to investigate a break and enter.
The suspect had entered the residence sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. that morning.
By means of technology available to the investigating officer, the stolen items – which included three Macbooks and two Nintendo Switches – were tracked to a residence in Hamilton.
The recovered stolen property was returned to the rightful owner and a warrant will be sought for a young person who will be charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The identity of the individual is being withheld under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
