HALDIMAND — Three drivers were charged in Haldimand County over this past long weekend.
On August 29, 2025 at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Haldimand OPP received a traffic compliant on Kohler Road, Lakeshore. The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted.
A 64-year-old of Selkirk was charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus).
Just over an hour later at 9:50 p.m., Haldimand OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision on North Shore Drive, Dunnville. A 50-year-old of St Catharines was charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus).
On August 31 at approximately 12:45 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Kyler Court, Caledonia. A 27-year-old of Caledonia was charged with Operation Causing Bodily Harm and Operation While Prohibited.
All accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on later dates.
