CAYUGA—The Haldimand River Cats PeeWee BB female hockey team played a special Remembrance Day hockey game at the Cayuga Memorial Arena on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Each player, along with her family, chose an individual that has served in the forces or as a front-line first responder and played the game in honour of the person chosen.
Veteran John McGilp dropped the puck for the game. He has been a Legionnaire for 60 years and saw 7.5 years of active duty.
