CALEDONIA—The lasting impact of Canadian hero Terry Fox continues with annual fundraisers to support cancer research. On September 14, 2025 about 50 people gathered in LaFortune Park in Caledonia to run, walk, or jog. Altogether, the group raised about $7,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation. CALEDONIA—This year thousands of Canadians celebrated the 45th annual Terry Fox run, including about 50 people in Caledonia on Sunday, September 14, 2025 celebrating the town’s 34th event. Participants could run or walk one, five, or 10km through LaFortune Park. Organizer Brenda Inkes has been involved for 13 years and said this year has been one of the better ones, raising $7,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation and seeing first-time participants up 25%.
