80 years of agricultural promotion: A look at the Haldimand Federation of Agriculture

This year, the Haldimand Federation Agriculture (HFA) is celebrating eight decades of supporting the local farmers and farming industry in Haldimand.

One of the most important issues the HFA tackles as a part of their mandate is to assist farmers in getting issues resolved by lobbying, advising, and working with all three levels of government. From municipal matters, such as taxation and road conditions, to provincial matters around new legislation on agriculture, to federal matters like international trade agreements.
