DUNNVILLE—Calvary Pentecostal Church in Dunnville hosted Stellar Kid’s Camp from July 24-28, 2023 that sold out with 120 kids registered. Kids from junior kindergarten to Grade 6 attended from 9 a.m. to noon to take part in themed activities. The church shared a post from Laurie Ricker, which said, “Travelling to the farthest reaches of the universe! Our summer students and dedicated volunteers have been busy transforming our building into outer space!” Shown are a few of the many photos posted to the church’s Facebook. Ricker shared, “The kids raised over $600 during the week to help those in Somalia suffering in a food crisis. We will be sending the money through ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Organization) … (so) the kids’ offering will be matched four to one!”
