HALDIMAND—Dunnville Bridges Community Action Team (DBCAT) provided Haldimand County Council with an update of their activities in their community and asked to work more closely with the County administration on planning and social engagement issues.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Dunnville resident Rob Lamothe said the DBCAT could help Council and administration build authentic engagement with those people who feel marginalized in the community.
“Our presence is as vital as the presence of the usual business leaders,” said Lamothe, “The Economic Development sector is over-represented at Haldimand County’s decision-making tables.”
