Haldimand Motors’ Great Tricycle Race cancelled

CAYUGA—It is with much regret that John Edelman, owner of Haldimand Motors in Cayuga, has announced the postponement of the Great Tricycle Race of 2020 to September 10, 2021.

The event has grown so popular over the past 20-plus years that it would be impossible to enforce or monitor any type of social distancing. Therefore, the decision had to be made to wait until next year.

Edelman said, “Obviously with an event that size we have to make a lot of plans ahead of time, so not knowing really where we are going to be at in September, we have to make a decision now for the future. We made the decision to cancel based on what we are hearing from other people.”
