HALDIMAND—“Having worked in other places, I can say that Haldimand is the best organization I’ve worked for,” said soon-to-be Chief Administrative Officer Craig Manley. “I have a strong affinity to the County – the community, the organization, and the staff. I want to continue the progressive directions Council has set.”
Manley, who has been the General Manager of Community and Development Services at Haldimand County since 2007, was recently appointed Deputy CAO and will take over from current CAO Don Boyle shortly as Boyle is moving into the private sector.
Originally from Brampton, Manley received an honours bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning before attending Western University for public administration and the University of Virginia for a leadership development program. He is now a Registered Professional Planner. Manley worked for Oxford County for 10 years, first as a planner and then as Senior Planner and Manager, and then in the private sector with a planning consulting firm before working for the City of Guelph as a Divisional Manager for seven years.
