Peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, Hamilton in his 47th year. Beloved husband of Jill (Laidlaw) Reichheld. Cherished dad to Jayden and Jase. Loving son of Roy and Jo-Anne (Edwards) Reichheld. Survived by his siblings Dan (Kelly) and Laurie (David) Mio as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his in-laws Jim and Joan Laidlaw and sister-in-law Jamie Laidlaw. He will also be greatly missed by Juno. Jamie was employed at CGC working there for over 20 years. He had many co-workers that became some of his closest friends. On his days off you could find him either cutting the grass, boiling maple syrup or puttering around the shop. There was always something that needed to be fixed or built. But his favourite place to be was watching his boys play their sports. He was so proud of them and all they have been able to accomplish. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Jarvis Community Centre, 18 James Street, Jarvis. DELOROS, Ilene Benn

March 25, 1942 – August 19, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Deloros Ilene Benn (nee Wolfe) announce her passing at the Brantford General Hospital on August 19, 2025 at the age of 83. She was born second of four children, to the late Charles Alexander Wolfe and Eva Irene Wilcox-Winger Wolfe Scholdice on March 25, 1942 in Cheapside ON. She married the late James Benn in August 1963, and they lived together in the Hamilton/Brantford area for twenty four years before relocating to the Timiskaming District, then once again returning to Brantford. Deloros is survived by three of her four children: Catherine (George) McDonald, of Melancthon; Christine Benn of Cobalt; and David (Kelly) Benn of Brantford. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four nephews and two nieces. Deloros was predeceased by her loving husband in April of this year; her son Andrew in 1993; her father in 1975; her mother in 2000; her step-father Frank in 1994; her elder sister Rena in 1985; her younger sister Sharon in 2009, her baby brother Cleveland in 1996 and her nephew James in 2014. Deloros enjoyed many things from singing, cooking, sewing, knitting and working on the family tree. She was an upstanding member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she had served in the Genealogy Library. She passed her passion for genealogy work on to her one daughter and one grandson. Deloros was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Her favourite poem “Footprints in the Sand” helped to build her belief and trust in her maker. A burial site service will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Springvale Greenwood Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and son. The family asks that as an expression of sympathy donations be made to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation, in lieu of sending flowers. Peacefully at Anson Place Care Centre, Hagersville, on Monday, August 18, 2025. Greg Udell, husband of the late Carole nee Glover (2015) and loving partner of Gale Meyers, in his 86th year. Dear son of Rose (nee Lockhart) and the late Goldie Udell. Beloved father of Bob (June) Udell, the late Brian Udell (1983), Brad (Linda) Udell and Bev (Dwayne) Pankhurst. Peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville in her 74th year. Predeceased by her parents John and Beatrice Cook. Survived by her partner Stan Atkinson, her children Kerri (Justin), Kris (Jen), Scott (Claudia), and Brody (Shannon). Cherished grandma to her grandchildren Jess (Danny) and Maddy (Austin) and great-grand daughters Anna, Claire and Kate. Jan was loved by so many nieces and nephews, adopted family members, special friends, work friends and Legion friends. MCVICAR, Malcolm

Malcolm McVicar passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, in his 83rd year. Born in Windham Centre, Ontario, to Edna and Jake McVicar, Malcolm will be fondly remembered for his kindness, unwavering loyalty, and the many heartfelt phone calls that kept him closely connected to his friends throughout the years. He is lovingly survived by his first wife and lifelong friend, Marnie Cunningham, and their children: Lidy (Steve Romanuk), Michael (Becky Kellam), James (Cristina Imgrund), Robyn (Jordan Edl), and Lee-Anne (David Creery). Malcolm was a proud grandfather to Campbell (Brittney), Logan McVicar, Roan, Ashton, Logan McKenzie, Brock, Lucy, and great-grandfather to Blakely. Malcolm will be dearly missed by his siblings Sharen Collins and Robert McVicar (Ellie Peters). Malcolm spent many years behind the wheel as a truck driver for Bruce R. Smith Ltd. and Pride Group Logistics, a career he cherished and continued until his retirement on his 80th birthday. To honour Malcolm’s life, an open house will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Caledonia Lions Community Centre (100 Haddington Street, Caledonia, ON). October 17, 1954 – August 16, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Roderick Eugene Sullivan. Left with beautiful memories are his wife, Diane (nee Doughty) and his three boys: Corey (Matthew), Joshua (Brittany), and Braden (Audrey). Rod was a proud Papa of his six grandchildren: Joel, Colton, Brooklyn, Mila, Zachary and Sadie. Predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Leo, he will be missed by his sisters Pam and Trish (Paul) as well as Diane’s siblings: Dave (Marie), Judy (Pat), Bruce (Barb), Glen (Joanne), Brian (Carol Anne), Kevin (Janice), Don (Gail), Christine (Scott) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loyal staff. Rod loved camping, watching his grandchildren at their sporting events, and his yeti. He was a part of the D and W Group for 50 years and could run into someone he knew anywhere he went. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. June 3, 1942 – August 12, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marion Lorraine Cherry (Brown) of Garnet / Hagersville and more recently Caledonia. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully to join her late husband, Ralph Gordon Cherry, and our Heavenly Father in Heaven. Marion was a woman of warmth and strength, being very enthusiastic, active, independent and caring. She dedicated her life to her family, the family farm Chericrest Holsteins, Haldimand Holstein Club, Hagersville Figure Skating Club, 4-H, The Haldimand Dairy Princess, Garnet United Church and helping others in the community. Her greatest pride was her grandchildren and great-grandchild nurturing them with love and kindness, instilling in them values of hard work, enthusiasm, and perseverance. Her guidance and steadfast support were the foundation on which her family thrived. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Marion’s life was a testament to assisting others and helping the Agriculture and Local Communities. She loved — family gatherings, heartfelt conversations, years of scouring cemeteries and archives studying her family trees. Fondly remembering her involvement with Garnet United Church. She enjoyed her earlier years helping with Hagersville Figure Skating Club, Haldimand Holstein Club, Walpole Dairy 4-H Club and the Caledonia Fair. Including many years ago helping host the Hewitts Ice Cream Booth at the Caledonia Antique Show. More recently assisting neighbors and friends to appointments and trips to Six Nations bingo where she loved making many new friends and even the occasional win ;). She loved helping others and sharing get togethers over lunch or community happenings. Her laughter could fill a room, and her hugs made especially the grands feel safe and loved.
