Results of inaugural CAGE Badminton tournament

CALEDONIA—Thursday, May 23, 2019 marked Grand Erie’s inaugural CAGE Badminton Tournament. Haldimand, Brant, and Norfolk each sent the top two teams/competitors from their respective finals to the tournament that was held at McKinnon Park Secondary School.

The tournament was a success and the competition was terrific.

There were five divisions.

Haldimand’s competitors were as follows: Joey D. and Ava L. from Mapleview and Simon R. and Emilia L. from Thompson Creek in the Mixed Doubles; Keira F. and Allie F. from Oneida and Libby and Grace from River Heights in the Girl’s Doubles; Gurn N. and Owen S. from Thompson Creek and Ryan H. and Brock H. from Mapleview in the Boy’s Doubles; Andrew R. from Thompson Creek and Ryan P. from River Heights in the Boy’s Singles; and Alexia H. from River Heights and Hannah I. from Hagersville in the Girl’s Singles.
