JARVIS—Though the weather was uncertain with some grey skies and blustery wind, the streets of Jarvis were busy with shoppers looking for deals during the Jarvis Yard Sale on May 17, 2025.
Young entrepreneurs were busy again selling baked goods, lemonade, and more during the annual townwide sale.
Oscar Burke, 11, offered three different home baked cookies at his sale table – chocolate chip, red velvet, and butterscotch toffee. His goal is to purchase a nerf gun.
JARVIS—Jarvis held its annual town-wide yard sale on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The Jarvis Community Church (JCC) offered breakfast, baking, and bargains. Helen Hoskin, Barb Booker, and Cheryl Smuck managed the bake table.
JARVIS—Young entrepreneurs Taylor Vokes (left) and Averi Gowan (right), both 11, spent many hours preparing for their sale. With their profits they plan to donate to their church and start saving for college.
