CANFIELD—On July 25, 2024 around 8:10 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 3, Canfield. The investigation determined that an SUV and a dump truck collided on the stretch of road near Haldimand-Dunnville Townline Road.
The driver of the SUV was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the dump truck reported minor injuries.
The road was closed between Junction Road and Darling Road until approximately 11:30 p.m. while members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team, along with the Ministry of the Environment, assisted with the investigation.
